TAMPERE, Finland, May 10. ACCORDING to various Finnish media reports, Eetu Karvonen crushed the Finnish record in the men's 50 breast over long course meters.
Karvonen clocked a time of 27.39 at a meet held in Tampere to destroy the previous record of 27.99 set by Jarno Pihlava back in 2006. Karvonen's time is within .21 seconds of Oleg Lisogor's European standard.
