Dubreuil, Balazs Claim Inaugural Canadian National Championships in 10k Open Water Race

MAGOG, Canada, July 31. PHILIPPE Dubreuil and Zsofi Balazs claimed the inaugural 10k open water titles during the 2006 Pan Pacific Trials/Senior National Championships on Monday.

Dubreuil clocked a gold-medal time of 2:07:40 to finish ahead of Jarrod Ballem (silver) and Simon Tobin (bronze).

Meanwhile, Balazs blazed to gold in 2:18:00 in front of Karley Stutzel (silver) and Tara Ivanitz (bronze).
