SHANGHAI, China, April 11. AS the World Short Course Championships concluded over the weekend, FINA announced that Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, will host the 10th edition of the 25-meter competition. That meet is scheduled for 2010.
Dubai was awarded the 2010 World Short Course Champs over Istanbul, Turkey. Dubai picked up 11 votes in the selection process while Istanbul collected 10 votes. The 2008 competition, slated for April 9-13 and just a few months before the Beijing Olympics, will be held in Manchester, England.
