Colorado State Rounds Up Verbal from Nevada HS Champion Emma Breslin

NEW COMMIT: Colorado State University has picked up a new verbal commitment for their class of 2024 from Las Vegas, Nevada’s Emma Breslin.

Breslin does her club swimming with Sandpipers of Nevada and most recently recorded four best times at NCSAs this past summer where her highest finish was a 27th-place showing in the 200m breast. Last winter, she placed fourth in the 200 breast and 11th in the 100 breast at Arizona Senior Opens.

Also competing for Bishop Gorman High School, Breslin is a four-time Nevada 4A State Championship finalist. She earned bronze in the 100 breast and took fourth in the 50 free as a junior after finishing third in both of those events during her sophomore season. She has also been a member of a pair of state championship relays.

She told Swimming World:

“I am thrilled to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and swim career at Colorado State University! I am so grateful for all of my family, friends, and coaches who have supported me along the way. SO EXCITED to be a ram!!”

100 free – 53.44
100 breast – 1:04.69
200 breast – 2:20.48
200 IM – 2:09.21

Breslin has consistently made improvements each season with just under a year of club swimming still to go before arriving on campus. She’s just on the brink of scoring range at the Mountain West Conference Championships and will provide even more depth to the Rams’ freestyle and breaststroke lineup.
