Cal Women’s Team Looking for an Assistant Coach

BERKELEY, Calif., April 22. UNIVERSITY of California Head Women's Coach Teri McKeever announced today she is beginning a national search for a new assistant coach. She hopes to have the new assistant coach on deck "no later than June 1."

Adam Crossen, the previous assistant coach, recently left the Berkeley campus to take an assistant coaching position at the Irvine (Calif.) Novaquatics Swim Team under Coach Dave Salo.

Coach McKeever, the 2002 ASCA "Coach of the Year," said she is looking for "someone with college coaching experience, someone who is ready to embrace all facets of our program."

"We particularly are looking for someone with a strong recruiting focus as well as someone who will be involved in the day-to-day planning," McKeever said.
