Britt Downs Masters World Record at Colonies Zone Championships

FAIRFAX, Virginia, August 30. CLAY Britt erased the men’s 45-49 50-meter backstroke Masters world record at the Colonies Zone LCM Masters Championships in Fairfax, Virginia.

After tying the global standard with a 29.09 during finals of the individual event, Britt came back with a 28.74 200-meter medley relay lead-off leg to erase the 29.09 set by Switzerland’s Craig Norrey at this year’s FINA World Masters Championships in Stanford, Calif.
