British Synchro Team Completes Aquatic Challenge

GREAT BRITAIN. March 2. ENGLAND'S synchronised swimmers have arrived at their holding camp ahead of the Commonwealth Games later this month.

Three swimmers from the Rushmoor Club, Hampshire will represent England at the Melbourne Games and they touched down today at their holding camp at Monash University, just outside the host city.

Selected synchro swimmers Olivia Allison, Jenna Randall and Lauren Smith will spend the next 10 days under the guidance of National Performance Director Adele Carlsen, a Commonwealth medallist herself in 1998.

Randall will compete in the solo event in Melbourne and partners Allison in the duet while Smith is selected as duet reserve.

The trio completes the selection of Team England¹s 46-strong aquatics team for Melbourne, which also features athletes competing in diving and swimming events.
