Breaststroker Trevor Boodt Sends 2025 Verbal to Arizona State

NEW COMMIT: Greenwood Villagae, Colorado native and talented breaststroker Trevor Boodt has announced his verbal commitment to Arizona State University beginning in Fall 2025.

Regarding his commitment, he said:

“I’m extremely honored to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at Arizona State University, I want to thank my family, friends and coaches for making me the swimmer and person I am today, as well as coach Bowman and coach Behm for giving me the amazing opportunity, I truly cannot wait for my four years at ASU. FORKS UP!!”

Boodt does his club swimming with Aquawolves Swim Team and placed eighth in the 100m breast at San Antonio Futures last summer after earning silver in that event at Colorado 13&O Championships. He competed at Juniors West in December.

His best times include:

100 breast – 55.03
200 breast – 1:59.46

Currently a junior at Cherry Creek High School, Boodt finished fourth in the 100 breast and ninth in the 200 IM at the 2023 Colorado Boys 5A State Championships. He took sixth and ninth, respectively, in those events during his freshman season.

The Sun Devils will have moved to the Big 12 by the time Boodt arrives on campus.
