It’s a bit of a slow week for the Big 12 with only two schools competing, both on Saturday January 23. Nevertheless, a good couple of meets await the conference.
Top Storylines:
- The No. 1 Texas men and the No. 4 Texas women are on a by-week. After an incredibly successful Arena Pro Swim Series for the Longhorns, they’re back to work for another full week of training before championship season is upon us.
- TCU is fresh out of a spit decision with rival West Virginia and going into a quad meet that they are expected to take handily. It will be interesting to see just how fast they swim this weekend.
- Iowa State takes on in-state rival UNI on Saturday. The meet is expected to be close, but a few of Iowa State’s standouts, including breastroker Kasey Roberts, could give the Cyclones the edge.
