KNOXVILLE, Tennessee, February 14. THE Baylor School's girls team downed the national independent high school record during finals of the Tennessee State Championships held in Knoxville.
The foursome of Sloane Pitman, Emma Michaels, Alison Lusk and Arden Pitman clocked a swift time of 1:33.35 in the 200-yard freestyle relay. The performance cleared the 1:34.16 set by The Peddie School in 2007. The time did not eclipse the overall national high school record of 1:32.75 set by Carmel High earlier this evening.
