Cooper Wozencraft will be headed to the University of Virginia next fall, according to a post made on his Instagram.
The Dad’s Club Swim Team member is a backstroke and butterfly specialist. This summer he was the NCSA long course champion in the 50 meter backstroke. He has posted a 22.66 in yards. Wozencraft has Summers Juniors cuts in the 100 (49.01) and the 200 (1:48.32) backstrokes.
His best time in the 100 butterfly (49.33) is a Winter Juniors cut.
While Wozencraft would not have scored for the Wahoos at the 2016 ACC Championships, the senior still has a year left to improve before he arrives on campus in Charlottesville next fall.
