Auburn Tigers Swim in War Eagle Invitational for Final Tune-up

AUBURN, AL, October 29. AUBURN reports their NCAA Champion men’s and women's swimming teams will take to the water for their final tune-up prior to the regular season on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 29-30, as the James E. Martin Aquatics Center plays host to USA Swimming's War Eagle Invitational.

Both of Auburn's squads were ranked number one in the initial CSCAA dual meet rankings, released earlier this week. Both squads, who combined have won five NCAA championships over the past three years, will see their first collegiate competition on Friday, Nov. 12, when Southeastern Conference rival Georgia visits the Plains for a 5:45 p.m. dual meet.

This weekend the Tigers will join a host of area club teams in the event. The starting time for Friday's session is 6 p.m. CT while Saturday's session begins at approximately 1:30 p.m. CT. Admission to the event is free.
