Auburn Threepeats, Wins Women’s NCAA Crown

COLLEGE STATION, Texas, March 20. AUBURN University did everything it needed to do — and more. The result was the Tigers' third straight women's NCAA Div. I title.

Auburn's 569 points were the mosts scored since 1993 when Stanford tallied 649.5 points. Georgia finished second with 431 points, followed by Arizona (369), Florida (253) and Stanford (237).

A total of 39 records were set at the meet, including one world record and one "world best," nine American, 12 U.S. Open and 16 NCAA marks. An NCAA meet record was set in every swimming event.
