Arizona State Adds Verbal Commit From Missouri’s Liam Bresette

Missouri’s Liam Bresette has verbally committed to Arizona State University, as the Sun Devils’ Class of 2022 continues to blossom. Noah Henry, Jakob IcimsoyCody BybeeEthan LucKhalil Fonder, and Eddie Michaeare also verbally committed to the squad. Bresette trains with Empire KC Swim Club and next fall will enter his senior year at Lee’s Summit North High School.

Bresette told Swimming World,

“I chose Arizona State University for the opportunity to further proceed in my academics and training! It’s a true privilege to be trained under their coaching staff who are always at the top of their game. That’s an element I wish to contribute to my swimming. I know ASU is the place to fully unlock my potential. It is an honor to represent ASU Sun Devils!”

His best times are:

  • 200 free – 1:37.17
  • 500 free – 4:23.52
  • 200 IM – 1:48.88
  • 100 fly – 50.24
  • 200 fly – 1:49.92

At his sophomore year Missouri Boys High School swimming state championship Bresette set the 200 freestyle state record. At this year’s meet he won the 500 freestyle and was 200 IM runner up.
