The International Olympic Committee will distribute 450,000 condoms at the 2016 Rio Olympics according to the Associated Press.

The IOC states that that’s triple the amount given out at the 2012 London Olympics.

The IOC also explained that a big part of the increase is that female condoms will be distributed for the first time with 100,000 of that variety along with 350,000 condoms for men being available.

The major increase in the amount of condoms is fairly surprising considering the London Olympics were given the moniker of the “Raunchiest Games Ever” due to giving out 150,000 condoms.

Condoms will be distributed either at a health clinic in the athletes’ village, or via vending machines available throughout the village.

I get it. So, their answer to the birth defects associated with the Zinca Virus is to give everyone condoms. Nice. How about working on moving the open water, rowing, and sailing to a safer venue, so our athletes are not swimming in raw sewage.
