The Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series kicks off this weekend at Possum Kingdom Lake in Texas. In anticipation of the event, both male and female divers are using the next couple of days to warm up their dives and capture the practice in a series of spectacular mid-dive photos.
In the above photo, permanent divers Steven LoBue and Rachelle Simpson of the USA show off their diving skills from the cliffs of Devil’s Island. Yesterday evening women’s champ and Texas-resident Rachelle Simpson and U.S. men’s diver, Steven LoBue got started early with a breathtaking sunset dive (all images here), the first unofficial dives of the 2016 season for the global competition.
