The United States Aquatic Sports and USA Diving annual meeting is set to occur next weekend, September 27 to 29, 2018, at the Hyatt Regency in Jacksonville, Florida.

This is an administrative convention where the aquatic sports of the Unites States gather to share and expand ideas, and conduct business. The convention’s 1,500 attendees represent 700,000 aquatic sport participants.

Attendees can register online, or in person at the registration desk, for the entirety of the conference or by day. Day registration does not include admittance to the awards banquet on Saturday Night.

The first day of USA Diving’s portion of the convention includes a Board of Directors meeting, active shooter training, an athlete meeting, a rules committee, and a closed governance and elections committee.

Nominations for the USA Diving open positions to be voted on are currently being accepted.

The second day of USA Diving’s annual meeting will include talks by Brian Payne on Flip for Fun, and The Impact of Social Media on Training and Performance by Dr. Megan Neyer.

Those attending the USA Diving portion of the convention who are not registered with USAS must register, and be a registered member USA Diving.
