A unique area at the turn end of the pool will be reserved for Southern California LSC swim clubs with special giveaways and National Team appearances each night.

Ahead of the meet, USA Swimming will ramp up promotional efforts with the Phillips 66 Nationals #FiredUp marketing campaign. Fans unable to travel to Irvine will have more ways than ever to follow the excitement from Phillips 66 Nationals, as USA Swimming will produce Deck Pass Live segments following each prelim and finals session and will debut a unique preview show live from the expanded fan zone. The shows will stream free of charge on usaswimming.org and via Facebook Live. NBC Sports will again provide extensive daily coverage of the event via NBC, NBC Sports Network and the Olympic Channel.

The William Woollett Aquatics Center has welcomed many of USA Swimming’s largest events and last hosted USA Swimming’s Phillips 66 Nationals in 2014. The action was highlighted by a then-world-record swim in the 400-meter freestyle from Ledecky.

The 2018 Phillips 66 National Championships is part of the 2018 Team USA Summer Champions Series, presented by Xfinity. The champions series showcases numerous Olympic sports throughout the season, highlighting the year-round quest of Team USA athletes to compete at the Olympic Games.
