Day six at the USA Swimming Trials saw more first time Olympians named to the team while veterans also continued their campaigns.

The night was highlighted by Michael Phelps beating Ryan Lochte to the wall in a 200 IM showdown.

American sprinting stars Abbey Weitzeil and Simone Manuel became first time Olympians tonight. Lilly King continued to be the queen of American breaststroking while Molly Hannis finished second in the 200 breaststroke.
