On day five of the 2016 USA Swimming Trials the men raced for spots on the 4×100 freestyle relay while the women narrowed the field in the semifinals.

Josh Prenot had a stunning swim to take down the men’s 200 breaststroke American Record, just ahead of Kevin Cordes.

Another Georgia bulldawg, Hali Flickinger earned an Olympic berth with a second place 200 butterfly, behind favorite Cammile Adams.

Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte set themselves up for an impressive battle in the 200 IM.
