It has been all hands on deck at the 2016 U.S. Olympic Trials with day one giving us our first members of the 2016 USA Olympic Team.

One of the most thrilling races of the night was the very first one, in which Jay Litherland passed Ryan Lochte headed into the final wall to put two Georgia Bulldogs on the Olympic team. Litherland was left speechless afterwards.

Swimming World‘s David Rieder and Mike Stott captured interviews with athletes as they finished their races and also attended press conferences. Chief photographer Peter Bick was on deck capturing the action and emotions.
