China’s Wang Jianjiahe added to the list of stellar international swims at the TYR Pro Swim Series in Atlanta with an 8:18.09. She won the race by over 10 seconds ahead of Ashley Twichell (8:29.35) and Hali Flickinger (8:31.03).

Wang is just another of the stellar teenagers that the People’s Republic of China has produced over the years as she joins fellow teen Li Bingjie in the 800 ranks. Wang’s time is one of the quickest we have seen from a 15-year-old in-season.

Kristel Kobrich (8:34.13), Mariah Denigan (8:39.84), Kensey McMahon (8:39.96), Haley Anderson (8:41.02) and Erica Sullivan (8:41.33) also finished in the top eight.
