Winter Juniors Qualifier Alexandra Breuer Commits to Georgetown University for Fall 2022

NEW COMMIT: Winter Junior Nationals Qualifier Alexandra Breuer from Jacksonville, Florida has committed to swim at Georgetown University in the fall of 2022. She will join Angelica Reali, Ines Lovato, Allie Sanchez, and Sophia Ribiero in the class of 2026.

Regarding her commitment, Breuer said:

“I’m thrilled to announce that I’m going to swim and study at Georgetown University!  Thank you to my family and friends and my Bolles coaches and teammates for all the love and support along the way.  Hoya Saxa!”

Breuer swims for high school powerhouse the Bolles School Sharks. She is a five-time Florida 1A State Championship finalist, with her highest placing coming in both the 100 breast in 2020 and 200 IM in 2021, where she finished fifth.

Her best times include:

  • 100 breast – 1:04.49
  • 200 breast – 2:16.52
  • 200 IM – 2:05.00
  • 400 IM – 4:23.65

With her best times, Breuer would have been the Hoyas’ fastest 100 breastroker and ranked second behind sophomore Erin Hood in the 200 breast, and 200 and 400IM.

Additionally, her best times in all four events would have scored in the A-final at the 2022 Big East Championships.
