Katie Ledecky highlights the psych sheet for Nation’s Capital Invitational, beginning December 10th and running through the 13th. The meet will be broadcast live by SwimmingWorld.TV. For full information on the meet, check out our event coverage page.
Ledecky is slated to swim five individual events over the course of the weekend: 100-200-500-1000 free and the 400 Individual Medley. Battling Ledecky for the top spot in the 400 IM will be Allie Szekely, currently the top seed for the event with a 4:06.33 over Ledecky’s 4:07.89.
In addition to the 400 IM, Szekely tops the psych sheets in the 100 and 200 back, 100 and 200 breaststroke, 200 IM and is seeded third in the 100 fly.
Joining Ledecky will be teammate Andrew Gemmell, swimming all distance events. Gemmell is seeded first in the 1650 free and 400 IM, as well as in the top five for the 500 and 1000 free.
Reece Whitley, who was recently named SI’s Sportskid of the Year for 2015, will have a busy weekend as he swims the 100 for all four strokes plus the 200 and 400 IMs.
The young Kate Douglass highlights the 13-14 age group as she is seeded first in the 50 and 100 free, as well as the 200 breaststroke. Douglass will also be swimming the 100 back and the 200 IM.

I am very interested in Katie’s times in the shorter distances and the 400m. I hope she breaks a record in front of the home fans! Any record! But, if not, I hope she has good swims, as she calls them!
I am so pleased that ESPNW which seemed to have slept through the entire World Championships, profiling Cate Campbell while Ledecky was turning the world upside down, finally woke up. Well deserved Katie.

Seriously? is this meet being streamed By Swimming World? Are there Real Time Results? Is there Meet Mobil? Is this an Elite Meet or an amateur run meet? Or are we to figure that the results will be identical to the Psych sheets? What am I missing? I don’t see anything on the NCAP page or on Swimming World

Really ? Are results working for anyone other than Taylor? Cause I have NOTHING, when they did load it was last year’s results under this year’s name. Then men’s results were coming up in women`s events. Now nothing…. I think they had more than a meet name change- New people running the Meet perhaps? Not every parent can afford to miss work to go to the MEET, and this seems to be a mess in terms of seeing results.
