Zhipeng Zeng Clinches 1-Meter National Title for Tennessee

Tennessee senior Zhipeng Zeng scored 405.40 points in the 1-meter competition to edge out Penn State’s Hector Garcia Boissier (399.30). Texas A&M’s Sam Thornton took third with 390.50 points.

Texas Longhorns Jordan Windle and Grayson Campbell scored 27 important points for the team competition with Windle finishing fourth (387.10) and Campbell taking seventh (340.45). That trimmed Cal’s lead in the team race to 27 points. Indiana’s James Connor scored fifth-place points with his score of 373.50, pulling the Hoosiers into third place ahead of NC State.

Miami’s Briadam Herrera took sixth (358.25) and Duke’s Nathaniel Hernandez was eighth (333.00).
