Zhipeng Zeng Becomes 3rd Buckeye To Win Platform Diving Event

Ohio State’s Zhipeng Zeng won Ohio State’s third platform diving title at the 2016 NCAA Division I Men’s Championships.

Zeng turned in a winning tally of 499.10 points to join David Pichler (1991) and Sean Moore (2008) as Buckeyes to win the event.

Arizona’s Rafael Quintero took second with 482.30 points, while Auburn’s Scott Lazeroff finished third with 436.75 points.

Texas’ Mark Anderson (421.55), Minnesota’s Manny Pollard (393.75), Stanford’s Theodore Miclau (378.00), Florida State’s Dylan Grisell (366.75) and Tennessee’s Mauricio Robles Rodriguez (351.20) rounded out the top eight.
