Woodland’s Kasidee Pascoe Verbally Commits to Biola University

NEW COMMIT: Kasidee Pascoe, a senior at Woodland High School and the Woodland Swim Team in Woodland, California, has given her verbal commitment to Biola University. Biola is new to Division II. The swim team competes in the Pacific Collegiate Swim and Dive Conference (PCSC).

Pascoe is a three time Team MVP and League MVP. She’s also been named All-Conference all three years of high school as she’s been a three year CIF Sac-Joaquin Sections finalist. She holds four league records. Pascoe’s best times include:

50 Free 25.11
100 Free 53.73
200 Free 1:56.91
100 Back 1:00.29

Pascoe would have been a 200 freestyle B finalist at last year’s Conference Championships, and Biola’s highest finisher. Junior Lisa Tixier won the 50 and 100 free in 2017. Pascoe will add some much needed depth to the sprint group. Biola had just two swimmers in the 50 freestyle at last year’s Championships. Pascoe would have finished 32nd in the event, where the conference swims through an E final. In the 100 free Pascoe’s best time would have been good for 23rd last year. Freshman Emily Silzel (53.88) was the highest finishing Eagle who will still be on the roster for Pascoe’s arrival. Pascoe would also finish in the 100 back C final.

She told Swimming World,

“I chose Biola University because it felt like home the minute I stepped on campus. The coaches and team were super welcoming. I know Biola is a place I can be successful academically, athletically, and spiritually. I look forward to spending the next four years at BU! Go Eagles!”
