The swimmers and divers from the Atlantic Coast Conference got their first look at the pool ahead of the ACC-B1G Challenge and had their first chance to come together as one team. Each ACC school is sending at least two swimmers or divers to the meet as this is the first time the ACC and the Big Ten have met in a setting like this.

Swimming World had a chance to attend the ACC’s practice on Friday night and caught up with Louisville’s Mallory Comerford, Virginia’s Paige Madden, NC State’s Justin Ress and Notre Dame’s Zach Yeadon to discuss their thoughts on the meet and what it is like to swim on a team with your conference rivals.

The meet will begin 5 p.m. Saturday night at Purdue University and will be streamed pay per view via BTN 2Go. It will be broadcast live Sunday afternoon at 10 a.m. on Big Ten Network.
