BARCELONA, Spain, July 31. LAST night in the Palau Sant Jordi, the site of the FINA world swimming championships, the press conference room was packed with journalists waiting to hear from some of Tuesday night’s medal winners.
In what is being regarded as the fastest field in history, Ruta Meilutyte, Yuliya Efimova and Jessica Hardy placed in the top three and won hard-fought medals. The three came by the press conference room to talk about their performances.
