Wisconsin’s Beata Nelson and Cam Tysoe will represent the Big Ten Conference this weekend at the ACC-B1G Challenge in West Lafayette, Indiana. The two conferences will come together for the first time in the pool after men’s basketball started the annual tradition in 1999.

Nelson first represent the Big Ten at the USA College Challenge her freshman season in 2016, and will represent the conference again this weekend. This is Tysoe’s first chance representing the conference.

Nelson will lead off the Big Ten’s medley relays and will swim the 100 back, 200 back and 200 IM, as well as lead off the A 400 free relay. Tysoe will swim both backstrokes and will be on the C 800 free relay.

The ACC had its first practice on Friday night, which can be viewed here.

The meet will begin 5 p.m. Saturday night at Purdue University and will be streamed pay per view via BTN 2Go. It will be broadcast live Sunday afternoon at 10 a.m. on Big Ten Network.
