Chase Kalisz earned a trip to Worlds after winning the men’s 400 IM tonight. Kalisz, the 2016 Olympic silver medalist in this event, was pleased with his swim. He was also excited for his training partners Jay Litherland and Gunnar Bentz for their performances.

Litherland is also on the Worlds team after finishing second to Kalisz. The two were tight at the 200 mark, and though Litherland felt that at the end, it paid off with a best time for the 2016 Olympian.
