Tom Shields won the 100 fly at the arena Pro Swim Series stop in Atlanta in the 12th-fastest time in the world this year.

Shields explained in his interview after the race how he adapts his race strategy as he goes through the season, explaining how he forgets how to swim particular races, and he also discussed how it felt to be back in Atlanta after spending time at the facility for U.S. Olympic training camp and becoming the first man under 44 in the 100-yard fly in the pool at Winter Nationals.
