Longhorn junior Townley Haas won the 200 free A final in an American record time of 1:29.50, regaining his record from Indiana’s Blake Pieroni. The victory marked Haas’ third consecutive NCAA title in the event.

The Longhorn admitted to being upset after originally losing his record on night one of the meet, but also how much reclaiming his title and record means to him.
