Video Interview Steven Stumph On Breaking Brendan Hansen’s HS Record

SANTA CLARA, California, May 31. ORINDA Aquatic's Steven Stumph relives the experience of breaking Brendan Hansen's national high school record in the 100 breast, and how he's making the transition to long course training and racing for the summer season.

Stumph tied Brendan Hansen's 2000 national public school record of 53.67 during the prelims of the California Interscholastic Federation's North Coast Sectional championships several weeks ago. He then came back with a 53.39 in the finals, downing the overall national record of 53.66 previously owned by Seattle Prep's Patrick Fowler since way back in 1998.
