At the U.S. Olympic Trials this summer, Molly Hannis overcame a disappointing third-place finish in the women’s 100 breast to make the Olympic team in a weaker event, the 200 breast. She went on to qualify for the semifinals in that event in Rio.
But Hannis insists she wants more, and she explains her motivation and the composition of the budding pro group at Tennessee in this video interview. She also discusses how proud she was of her performance at Olympic Trials and her thoughts on being in New York for the glitz of Golden Goggles.
