Michigan freshman Maggie MacNeil talked after the B1G-ACC Challenge about how her first semester of college has been at the University of Michigan and how she has adjusted to swimming in yards.

MacNeil also talked about how she enjoyed competing for the Big Ten Conference at this meet as it was her first opportunity to wear a fast suit this semester. She also talked about the difficulty of trying to determine what is considered fast in short course yards since she grew up in Canada and has never raced in yards before.

MacNeil put up the number one time in the country this season in the 100 fly on Saturday night and has the sixth fastest time in history in that event (50.09).
