After winning the 50 butterfly last night, Kelsi Worrell followed with another win in the women’s 100 butterfly to claim another event for Worlds. Worrell believes she still has much better swims in her but is excited for her friends and teammates Sarah Gibson and Mallory Comerford.
After finishing third in the 200 butterfly two nights ago, Gibson made her first World Championships team tonight in the 100 butterfly. While she was not necessarily sure she had it in her, Gibson was motivated by her teammate Bethany Galat‘s performance last night. She looks forward to joining Worrell in Budapest.
