2016 Olympian Jack Conger finished first in the men’s 200 butterfly, punching his ticket to Budapest. Conger discussed his strategy to get out fast and lead from the first 50, which seemed to pay off Tuesday night.

Pace Clark finished second in the 200 butterfly, just hundredths behind Conger. Clark’s swim qualified him for his first long course international team, which has been a big goal for him since Trials last year.
