After the final prelims session at U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis, U.S. World Championships women’s head coach Greg Meehan spoke to the media to analyze the week of Nationals and look ahead to Team USA assembling for the World Champs.
Meehan explained how putting together a World Champs team is different from a chemistry standpoint than an Olympic team and how he is looking forward to working with longtime friend and men’s head coach Dave Durden.
Meehan also commented on some of the most impressive performances of the week, including Leah Smith’s massive program that included a win in the 400 IM.
