MESA, Arizona, April 25. ELIZABETH Beisel took a much-needed break after competing in her final NCAA championships, and was happy with her performance in the 400 IM tonight at the Arena Grand Prix.

In this video interview, Beisel said she doesn’t plan to take another break until after the Rio Olympics, so she said the break was a needed “recharge.” She didn’t decide to come to the meet until about a week ago, and she also talks about the thrill of wearing a racing suit at an in-season meet, something coach Gregg Troy does not often allow outside of a championship meet.
