Chase Kalisz completed the IM sweep Saturday night at U.S. Nationals, adding the 200 IM to his schedule for the upcoming World Championships in Budapest. He had already posted the world’s fastest time in the 400 IM in Indy.
Kalisz discussed what he thinks he did not go as fast as he could in the 200 IM and why he thinks the three-round format at World Championships (including semi-finals) will work to his advantage. Kalisz also discussed what he has done to improve his speed and strength for a 200-meter race in recent years.
