Cammile Adams swam her final tune-up race for this summer’s Olympic Trials Saturday night at SwimMAC’s Road to Rio meet. She posted a 2:07.59 in the 200 fly, good for 14th in the world this year, and Adams will go into Omaha hoping to make her second Olympic team. She won silver in the 200 fly at last summer’s World Championships.
After the race, Adams discussed how she feels about her preparation, where she is in the taper cycle and changes she has made to her technique. She also discussed what she’s expecting from the rest of the field in the 200 fly in Omaha.
