(VIDEO INTERVIEW) Andrew Seliskar on Exploring New York for the First Time at Golden Goggles

Andrew Seliskar took a minute to chat with Swimming World about his first Golden Goggles experience on Monday night in New York City. Seliskar said it was his first time in New York as well so he was looking forward to seeing when he got to the city.

Seliskar was up for Breakout Performer of the Year, which ultimately went to Michael Andrew.

Seliskar is currently in his senior year at the University of California, Berkeley, where he is looking for his first individual NCAA title as well as winning Cal’s first team title since 2014.

Representing Team USA for the first time at a major international competition, Andrew Seliskar was a double medalist at the 2018 Pan Pacific Championships, as he took silver in the 200m freestyle and led off the gold-medal-winning 4x200m free relay. At the 2018 Phillips 66 National Championships, Seliskar won his first career national title in the 200m free in a lifetime best 1:45.70 and tied for third in the 200m individual medley. Earlier in 2018, Seliskar posted three top-five finishes for Cal at the NCAA Championships.
