After winning tonight’s 100 backstroke in Mesa, David Plummer spoke with the media about tonight’s swim, and what he is doing outside of the pool to ensure his best training and racing.

David Plummer topped the field by over a second tonight in the 100 backstroke. Plummer stopped the clock in 54.29. Ryan Lochte finished second in 55.35. Arkady Vyatchanin completed the podium in 55.39.

Eugen Godsoe finished fourth with a 55.72.

Paul Le (56.44), Sean Lehane (56.62), Marcos Palacios (57.07) and Michael Taylor (57.15) completed the A final.
