BARCELONA, Spain, July 31. LAST night in the Palau Sant Jordi, the site of the FINA world swimming championships, the press conference room was packed with journalists waiting to hear from some of Tuesday night’s medal winners.

Matt Grevers, David Plummer and Jeremy Stravius walked away from a star-studded 100 backstroke final with medals around their necks, and they talked about the race with members of the media:
