(VIDEO) 2016 USA Olympic Team Creates Carpool Karaoke Video

The 2016 USA Olympic Team has been in Rio for the past few days preparing for the 2016 Rio Olympic Games beginning in a slim two days, but before they landed in South America the team took full advantage of some free time in Atlanta to do some carpool karaoke.

In a mash-up video that could arguably out-shine 2012’s “Call Me Maybe” video the team can be found carpooling across town singing along to Miley Cyrus’ “Party In The USA.”

The mashup includes several different costumes by the cars, including a car full of Olympians in practice suits, caps, and goggles, two lobster suits, and one smashed ice cream cone.

Olympic returners Michael Phelps, Nathan Adrian, Conor Dwyer, Ryan Lochte and Elizabeth Beisel shepherded their groups across town, while Anthony Ervin’s vehicle took a slightly different approach. Ervin’s vehicle, which included fellow Olympians David Plummer, Katie Ledecky, Molly Hannis, and Kelsi Worrell, replicated the theme song of the famous “That ’70s Show,” continually switching positions in the car as they sung along.

Other featured songs include Zac Brown’s “Chicken Fried,” One Direction’s “You Don’t You’re Beautiful,” and Flo-Rida’s “Welcome to my House.”
