Sandy Nitta got her start as an Olympic swimmer in 1964 before making a transition to the game of water polo. One of the pioneers of the groundbreaking Commerce Aquatics program, Nitta served as the Head Coach of the Women’s National Team for parts of two decades guiding the team to Bronze Medals at the 1982, 1986 and 1991 World Championships. Currently she heads up the Henderson/Vegas Masters Club while also hosting the annual Masters Festival held in Nevada.
