USA Swimming Sectionals, Oklahoma City: Shannon Vreeland, Emily Dicus, Evan Noble Double

OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma, March 6. THREE swimmers posted double wins during the third night of long course meter action at the USA Swimming Sectionals held in Oklahoma City, Okla.

Kansas City Blazer Shannon Vreeland won the women's 200 IM in 2:19.68, while Aquahawks Danielle Herrmann (2:20.42) and Emma Reaney (2:22.36) placed second and third. CSP's Evan Noble captured the men's 200 IM in 2:08.60, while Kansas City Blazer Nathan Hoisington earned second in 2:10.12. Tsunami's Jason King snared third in 2:10.85.

Topeka's Emily Dicus grabbed the women's 50 free title in 26.55, while Rockwood's Lauren Votava finished second in 26.76. Topeka's Haley Molden wound up third in 27.25. Jenks Trojan Jacob Pearce clinched the men's 50 free in 23.98. Rockwood's Matthew Donch took second in 24.11, while Swim Omaha's Pat Militti earned third in 24.36.

Reaney picked up her second podium of the night with a 2:39.94 for the women's 200 breast title. Kansas City Blazer Caroline Woody took second in 2:40.20, while Rockwood's Liza Poskin finished third in 2:43.69. Hawg's Gage Crosby cruised in the men's 200 breast with a winning 2:26.77. Hoisington took his second podium with a second-place 2:29.82. Teammate Griffin Peavey placed third in 2:31.05.

Dicus doubled up with a 1:04.12 in the women's 100 back. Rockwood's Samantha Wright placed second in 1:04.72, while Topeka's Sammie Schurig grabbed third in 1:06.23. Noble also doubled with a 59.06 in the men's 100 back. Kansas City Blazer Seth Musser earned second in 59.72, while Chesapeake's Narayan Naik snagged third in 1:00.47.

Vreeland became the third double winner of the night with a 4:26.99 in the women's 400 free. Topeka's Haley Molden placed second in 4:29.58, while Hawg Jenny Holtzen garnered third in 4:30.76. Kansas City Blazer Ben Bravence snagged the men's 400 free in 4:03.63. Swim Tulsa's Eastman Holloway finished a distant second in 4:11.47, while Rockwood's Garin Marlow snatched third in 4:12.34.
