USA Swimming Sectionals, Indianapolis: Jillian Altenburger Doubles On Second Day

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, March 28. JILLIAN Altenburger of Berkeley Aquatics won a pair of titles on the second night of swimming at the USA Swimming Sectional held at the IU Natatorium at IUPUI.

Women's Meet
Jillian Altenburger of Berkeley Aquatics claimed the 200 free title with a time of 2:03.90, while Eva Lehtonen, 16, of the Oakland Live Y'ers placed second in 2:04.05.

Darcy Fishback, 16, of Upper Arlington snared the 100 fly title with a time of 1:00.97, while Dana Christ of the Oakland Live Y'ers took second in 1:01.58. Donna Smailis of Indiana University wound up third in 1:02.27.

Megan Fox, 15, Novi Sturgeons captured the 400 IM crown with a time of 4:54.93, while Ashley Edgell of the Irish placed second in 4:55.16.

Berkeley Aquatics' team of Altenburger, Alexi Kuska, Elizabeth Floyd and Lauren Ross won the 400 free relay in 3:56.99.

Men's Meet
Peter Benner of Savannah Swim topped the 200 free in 1:53.87 with Kyle McNeilis of Westerville finishing second in 1:54.44.

AJ Miller of Indiana University picked up the 100 fly title in 55.32, while Tim Collins of Greater Columbus placed second in 55.50.

Mike Alexandrov of Wildcat earned the 400 IM title in 4:29.88, while Aaron Buchanan, 16, of the Dayton Raiders touched second in 4:31.41.

The Cincinnati Marlin team of John Carroll, Will Lawley, Brad Langford and Sean Ransenberg won the 400 free relay in 3:34.88.
