USA Swimming Sectionals, Greensboro: Dynamo Dominates Second Night Atop Podium

GREENSBORO, North Carolina, July 13. DYNAMO Swim Club continued to dominate the podium during the second evening of swimming at the USA Swimming Sectionals being held in Greensboro, N.C.

Dynamo's Kathleen Cook (2:06.05) and Kylie Stewart (2:06.44) went 1-2 in the women's 200 free, while NCAC's Jackie Rudolph placed third in 2:06.55 in what proved to be an exciting finish. Notably, Lakeside's Asia Seidt won the B final in 2:06.29.

Seidt returned in the women's 100 back with a 1:03.06 to 1:03.43 victory over NCAC's Carly Smith, while Charleston's Micah Bohon tied with Sydney Sell of Shelby for third with matching 1:05.77s. Greensboro's Hannah Martin topped the B final in 1:05.59.

Dynamo's Haley Durmer touched in 4:58.94 for the women's 400 IM crown, while Riptides' Keena Lineback hit second in 4:59.42. Lakeside's Ellie Grimes wound up third in 5:03.87.

Three Village's Tom Luchsinger checked in with a 1:52.13 to win the men's 200 free, while Louisville's Pedro Oliveira finished second in 1:53.72. NCAC's Brett Nagle picked up third in 1:54.50. Additionally, SwimAtlanta's Cody Reul topped the B final in 1:54.23.

Oliveira responded in the men's 100 back with a 57.13 for the win. Silver Bullet's Michael Camper finished second in 57.62, while Dynamo's Sam Lewis placed third in 58.10. Buzz's Dylan Kase clocked a 4:37.58 to win the men's 400 IM. Dynamo's Michael Kenny (4:38.20) and Connor Herman (4:39.78) placed second and third in the finale.

Dynamo's Kathleen Cook, Caitlin Cooper, Kylie Stewart and Haley Durmer won the women's 400 free relay in 3:54.56, while their teammates Sam Lewis, DJ Boutte', Aaron Durrence and Robert Doles topped the men's 400 free relay in 3:33.84.
